The Springfield franchise has been part of the league since 1999 winning 3 World League Superbowls in 1999, 2002, and 2010.  The first two titles came with the team under the name THE MICAH BANDY EXPERIENCE, while the third title came under the team name SPRINGFIELD BLAGOJEVICHES.  Micah came off his high horse and properly renamed the team after the city it was playing in paying homage to the great Illinois Govenor Rod Blagojevich who did so much to the state he represented.  Of course none of what Rod did was good.  But why quibble over small factoids? 

 

Bandy was named Sub Commissioner by Jason "Psychic" Webber in 2006 as the Psychic Commish had moved away from WLOF Headquarters and had a much harder time organizing the draft.  Bandy has served in the role since then.  For having won 3 WLOF Superbowls, the overall record of the Blagojeviches is surprising bad.  Either Micah leads his team to the promise land, or the suck.  Badly.  After winning WLOF Superbowl XIII In 2010, Micah and the Blagojeviches have had a losing record every year but 2013 where he made his first appearence in a WLOF Superbowl and lost.  Bandy (pictured on the left abord his yacht, the S.S. Bandy) has sworn that the strategy that has garned him the most success is the draft a QB in the first round.  He has made the playoffs every year he has done so except the year he drafted Dante Culpepper in the first round, and he was injured for the season by week 3.
